Year 11 Enrolment for Queensbury Academy Sixth Form 2025/26

Students will receive a letter within their GCSE results, confirming whether they have been successful in meeting the entry criteria to study with us at Queensbury Academy Sixth Form.

Year 11 results day and enrolment for Queensbury Academy Sixth Form

On Year 11 results day (Thursday 21st August 2025), students who have applied for Sixth Form will need to visit the W11 between 9.00am – 12.00pm in order to enrol. Students must bring their GCSE results with them so that they are able to select course choices and confirm their place, ready for September.

If for any reason students are not available in person to enrol in the Sixth Form, potentially due to being on holiday, they will need to email pkemp@queensbury.anthemtrust.uk before 12.00pm on results day, confirming their course choices and intention to study with us.

Results Day Questions

Staff will be on-site during results day to assist where possible with any queries. Post-results services are also available for those who wish to use them. These include reviews of marking and access to scripts. There is a fee for these services and strict deadlines which must be adhered to. If there are any questions regarding the results, please contact exams@queensbury.anthemtrust.uk.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank families for their support during this past academic year and wish all our students every success and happiness in their future endeavours.

HMRC Reminder: Child Benefit when your child turns 16

HMRC send letters between May and July 2025 to parents, explaining how to extend their claim. Parents/carers can extend their Child Benefit via the HMRC app or online where eligible.

We know how important Child Benefits can be to families, so let HMRC know by 31 August 2025 if your teen intends to stay in approved education or training.

Extending your Child Benefit ensures you won't miss out on any payments from 31 August 2025. However, if your child changes their mind about further education or training, you can simply let HMRC know online or in the app and we’ll update our records and adjust any payments as needed.

For parents who can’t extend their Child Benefit online, you can still do so by post or by phone.
